RATING:

THE UNTHINKABLE HAS HAPPENED. VINCENT IS DOOMED TO ROAM THE EARTH AS A WANDERING SPIRIT UNLESS KATE CAN DISCOVER THE TRUTH BEHIND AN ANCIENT RITUAL. KATE MUST ASK HERSELF: WHAT IS SHE WILLING TO SACRIFICE TO BRING BACK HER BELOVED? THE ANSWER: EVERYTHING.

"In Die for Me", Amy Plum created a truly original paranormal mythology and a captivating story that was praised for its "lush Parisian setting and gorgeous characters," by "Publishers Weekly". The sequel, "Until I Die", thrilled readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a major cliff-hanger that "Kirkus" said would "compel readers to the final book in the trilogy"." Now "If I Should Die" brings this trilogy to a satisfying, surprising, and bittersweet end.

MY THOUGHTS:

AMY PLUM RETURNS WITH IF I SHOULD DIE, THE FINAL INSTALLMENT IN THE REVENANTS TRILOGY. THIS NOVEL BURSTS WITH PULSE POUNDING NON-STOP ACTION, BREATH TAKING LOCATIONS, HOT GUYS AND MOMENTS OF SHEER ROMANCE THAT WILL MAKE YOU SIGH "OH LA LA"

I WAS SAD TO READ THE LAST BOOK IN THIS SERIES SIMPLY BECAUSE I ADORE IT BUT MY NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO VINCENT OVERRULED EVERYTHING. SO I PICKED UP IF I SHOULD DIE AND I WAS QUICKLY SWEPT INTO THIS FAST PACED READ AND I COULD NOT STOP MYSELF FROM DEVOURING IT IN ONE SITTING. AS I RETURNED TO THIS WORLD OF UNDEAD FUELED ROMANCE AND MYSTERY I WITNESSED KATE DEFY THE RULES, CHALLENGE THE ENEMIES AND FIGHT FOR THE MAN SHE LOVES AND IT WAS KICK ASS BRILLIANT.

AMY PLUM WAS ABLE TO WRAP UP THIS STORYLINE BY INFUSING DIVINCI CODE TYPE ELEMENTS AND ANCIENT LORE WHILE INCLUDING A PLOT TWIST OF EPIC PROPORTIONS THAT TOTALLY FLOORED ME. I WAS SATISFIED WITH HOW EVERYTHING WAS RESOLVED AND WAS SAD TO SEE THIS STORY END BECAUSE IT HAS SOME OF MY FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. WHAT GIRL CAN RESIST JULES? I KNOW I CANNOT.

IF I SHOULD DIE IS A MUST READ FOR THE FANS OF THIS SERIES AND FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NOT READ THE REVENANT TRILOGY YET. WELL YOU NEED TO GET ON IT AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I COULD HAVE HAD A LOVE LIKE THAT WITH VINCENT. I HAD FELT IT. THERE HAD BEEN SOMETHING RIGHT ABOUT US: IT THAT WAS BIGGER THAN JUST TWO PEOPLE IN LOVE. WHEN WE WERE TOGETHER, IT HAD BEEN LIKE ONE OF NATURE'S TRUE AND RARE BEAUTIES;: LIKE THAT AN IMPOSSIBLE BEAM OF SUNLIGHT PIERCING THROUGH BLACK CLOUDS, BATHING THE PATCH OF EARTH BEFORE YOU IN GOLD. TOGETHER, VINCENT AND I HAD CREATED SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL. PAGE 63
