So have spy agencies around the world been summoning forces from the spiritual realm in order to gather intelligence? A pretty wild story, but we wouldn't put it past any world government, (especially the more dubious ones), to summon up spirits to get a one-up on other governments. The Nazi's of WW2 were well known for their belief in the supernatural and their quests for anything related to the spiritual realm, (The Indian Jones movies were not far from the truth when it came to the Nazi's).
The bible warns that in this world, we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against the dark spiritual rulers and authorities of this world;

During the Tribulation period we are told that evil spirits will actually take control of the kings, (leaders), of the whole world and march them to Armageddon for the final battle with God Almighty. It would appear by this article that world governments are already being seduced by these inter-dimensional entities from the spirit world.
