THE ANCIENT SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE KNOWN AS SACRED GEOMETRY
SACRED GEOMETRY PATTERN OF THE UNIVERSEHOW DOES THE STUDY OF NUMBERS HELP US TO GRASP THE UNDERLYING NATURE OF REALITY?
THE ETERNAL CONSTANTS OF MATHEMATICS BRING THE HARMONIOUS PRINCIPLES OF THE UNIVERSE WITHIN REACH OF HUMAN UNDERSTANDING.
FLOWER OF LIFE - SYMBOL OF ALL MAJOR RELIGION
WHAT IS THE FLOWER OF LIFE SYMBOL?
The Flower of Life symbol is considered to be sacred among many cultures around the world, both ancient and modern. Within this symbol can be found all the building blocks of the universe that we call the Platonic Solids. The symbol can be used as a metaphor to illustrate the connectedness of all life and spirit within the universe.
The Platonic Solids are important because they are found in the rudimentary construction of organic life, as well as music, language, and consciousness itself.
The Flower of Life is a universal template with many lenses. When placed over the face of a common or ordinary circle or sphere, the Flower of Life maps a window into the unity of infinity and turns the ordinary into a revelation of the extraordinary.
The Flower of Life is a geometrical framework that is built of overlapping circles and equilateral triangles. It is the basis for Sacred Geometry, the Geometry of Creation. This framework can be found everywhere: in snow flakes, sunflowers, in the rotation of electrons around an atom core, or the rotation of the stars in the Galaxy.
WHERE CAN THE FLOWER OF LIFE SYMBOL BE FOUND?
The Flower of Life symbol can be found in various locations around the planet. No one knows for sure how old this symbol really is. We can get an approximate idea of a minimum age from the middle Osirian temple at Abydos, Egypt, where the symbol is found.
The FOL pattern was placed upon the granite siding of this temple. It was not carved into the granite. It seems to have been burned into the granite or somehow drawn on it with incredible precision.
The FOL symbol has also been found in Masada Israel, Mount Sinai, and many temples in Japan and China. Recently it has been found in India and a report that it was found in Spain as well.
A depiction of the Flower of Life can be found in many cultures, such as on Indian temple paintings, in Middle-Eastern symbolism, in China, on various Roman sites in Turkey and in Italian art from the 13th century.
The Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt, contains the oldest known examples of the Flower of Life. They are at least over 6,000 years old and may date back to as long ago as 10,500 BC or earlier. In ancient Egypt the Flower of Life (in Egyptian: Mer-Ka-Ba) was used to replicate the energy fields around the human body.
'Mer' means movements of energy around us. 'Ka' means soul. 'Ba' means body. Mer-Ka-Ba means the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of light (wheels within wheels).
MERKABA
Merkaba, also spelled Merkabah, is the divine light vehicle allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. Described as spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another.
DERIVED FROM NATURE
The great knowledge of the ancients like the Egyptians and Mayas has been derived from nature. These civilisations knew the diameters and relative positions of the stars, planets and our moon. Also their architecture was based on principles of nature.
The ancients illustrated the importance of geometry. The geometry is linked to music and our awareness. The application of sacred geometry can be found in the art of the Egyptians and Greeks. The Geometry is used as a blueprint for our cells to grow in a certain direction from embryo to an adult human. Most people are not aware of the fact that this logical type of spirituality is the most profound and has been the most secret throughout the centuries.
For the Egyptians, Tibetan's and Maya's spirituality and science where perceived has one. They had a much richer intuitive life and where in contact both with the earth and the cosmos.
SECRET FOR CENTURIES
Ancient knowledge has been secret for centuries in the monasteries of all religions. The knowledge we have today in the west has been derived from the Greeks. The Greeks got their knowledge from the Egyptians. The Egyptians, from their knowledge in relation to the cosmos. Also the Tibetans have safeguarded their geometry knowledge to a great extent in their many types of mandalas. The Tibetans got their knowledge from the great Hindu Indian masters around 1000 A.C. These great Hindu Masters got their knowledge from heritance back to the old Vedic Civilisation which was flowering around 6.800 BC in the area of India, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan. This civilisation are thought to have developed their knowledge from an out of space source.
Another notable example of that which may be derived from the Flower of Life is the Tree of Life. This has been an important symbol of sacred geometry for many people from various religious backgrounds. Particularly, the teachings of the Kabbalah have dealt intricately with the Tree of Life.
Looking into the window of the Flower of Life challenges us to unify our mind, heart, and spirit. When we can truly see all life woven so intimately, we strengthen the embrace of the divine in our lives and we can transform our world through the vision of universal unity.
